STAGE 1 REOPENING: All facilities will open excluding the 3 large water slides. Capacity restrictions in effect.
Cedar Park Resort will be open for general day use beginning Saturday June 19th 2021. Swimming will be open thereafter everyday 10am to 6pm excluding the 3 large slides pending the STAGE 2 reopening.
COVID-19 UPDATE
The health and safety of our guests is our top priority. We continue to follow the reopening framework provided by the Province of Ontario as well as direction from the Durham Region Health Department.
All guests for both daily general admission and RV camping are required to adhere to the Ontario provincial guidelines of maintaining physical distancing of 2 m or 6 feet and restricting gathering sizes to 10 people or less.
COVID SCREENING – if you answer “yes” to any of the following questions, please refrain from visiting the park
- Have you or anyone you have been in close physical contact with traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days?
- Are you or anyone you are in close physical contact with sick with a respiratory illness (had a new or worsening cough, fever or difficulty breathing) in the last 14 days?
- Has a doctor, health care provider, or public health unit told you that you should currently be isolating (staying at home)?
- Is anyone you live with currently experiencing any new COVID-19 symptoms and/or waiting for test results after experiencing symptoms?
IMPORTANT NOTICES
All guests will need to purchase tickets in advance. In order to maintain capacity restrictions, ALL General Admission Day Passes will be sold through SHOWPASS Online Ticket Service and must be purchased before your visit to the park.
NO General Admission tickets will be sold at the gate.
Due to capacity restrictions to allow for appropriate physical distancing for the safety of our guests and our staff, aquatic activities may incur wait times during peak periods.
Children 2 and under do not require a ticket.
All guests must wear bathing suits in all pool/water activity areas.
In order to protect the safety of our guests and our lifeguards, guests 14 years and under who wish to use the deep end of the swimming pool must complete a swim test. To pass the swim test, you must swim continuously on your front, two widths of the pool in a comfortable manner. Face/head must submerge and body must stay near horizontal during the test.
Notice to all guests, verbal or harassing language and behaviour directed to employees of Cedar Park Resort or other guests is unacceptable and will result in loss of swimming privileges or removal from park.
